Privacy statement
This is the English translation of the Dutch privacy statement on selevy.nl/privacy.
Version 1.0 · last updated: 4 October 2026
The short version: this website uses no cookies, no analytics services and no advertising networks. Our servers are in the Netherlands. We only use your data to do what you ask us to: answer your question, set up your demo or serve your club as a customer. We do not sell anything on.
1. Who are we?
Selevy is a product of tInteractive Media Solutions, based in Heiloo, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 42121582 ("we"). Questions about privacy can be sent to [email protected].
2. Two situations: this website and your club's data
- This website, the demo and our customer relationship. For these we are the controller. This privacy statement is about this data.
- The data a club puts into Selevy, such as players, parents, staff, evaluations and teams. The club is responsible for this data. We are then the processor: we only process that data on the club's instructions and under our data processing agreement. Do you have a question about your data, or your child's data, in Selevy? Please contact your club. We help the club to handle your request.
3. When you visit this website
- We set no cookies and use no analytics services. The forms work without cookies as well.
- Fonts, icons and images come from our own domain. Simply reading a page therefore does not contact any other party.
- Our hosting provider in the Netherlands keeps standard server logs, including the IP address, the time and the page requested. We only use them to detect faults and misuse. The hosting provider keeps them in line with its own retention policy; we cannot switch this off or shorten it.
4. When you contact us
| What we receive | your name, email address, the subject, optionally your club and phone number, and your message |
| What for | answering your question or scheduling a personal demo |
| Legal basis | our legitimate interest in answering questions, or steps taken at your request before entering into an agreement |
| Spam protection | we record your IP address to limit repeated submissions and erase it after 24 hours. We use no outside service and set no cookies for this |
| Retention period | 12 months after our last contact, unless a customer relationship follows |
5. When you request a demo
| What we receive | your name, email address, the name of your club, your sport, the language and your IP address |
| What for | creating your own demo club, emailing you the login link, sending you tips during the demo and preventing misuse (a limited number of demos per email address and IP address) |
| Legal basis | steps taken at your request before a possible agreement |
| Retention period | 6 months after the demo has ended |
- The demo itself contains fictional data. After 7 days the demo is deleted automatically, together with everything you did in it. Do not put real members' data into the demo. An import takes over at most 25 rows.
- During the demo you receive about one email a day with explanations and tips about Selevy. When the demo has ended, we send one more email to confirm that the demo and all data in it have been deleted. These emails are part of the demo. You can unsubscribe with the link in every email; after that you will not receive them anymore. The links in the emails take you, logged in, to the right place in your demo. Our emails contain no trackers: we do not keep track of whether you open them.
- Messages after the demo are only sent if you ticked the box for this when requesting the demo (consent). You can unsubscribe with the link in every message.
6. When your club becomes a customer
| What we keep | the name, email address and phone number of the contact person, the club's details (name, address, Chamber of Commerce number) and the invoicing details |
| What for | performing the agreement, invoicing (one invoice per year, in advance) and support |
| Legal basis | performance of the agreement; for the accounts, a legal obligation |
| Retention period | for as long as the agreement runs and 2 years after; invoicing details 7 years (statutory retention obligation) |
7. Who we share data with
We do not sell data and only share it with parties we need in order to provide Selevy:
| Party | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Our hosting provider | hosting the website, the app and the database, backups and sending email | the Netherlands |
| AI services: Anthropic and xAI | only if a club switches AI on: summaries and a draft team selection | United States, with the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission |
- We only send AI services what is needed: a temporary code per player, scores, team averages, match statistics, notes (with names replaced by codes), position and age group; for the team selection also year of birth, gender and "injured: yes/no". Never names, contact details, addresses, full dates of birth, photos, injury details, certificates, nationality or extra profile fields.
- We have agreements with all of these parties about the security and confidentiality of data. The AI services do not use the data we send them to train their models.
- Apart from this, we only pass on data if the law requires us to.
8. Security
- All connections are encrypted (https), and our servers are in the Netherlands.
- Sensitive data is stored encrypted, and passwords only as an irreversible hash.
- Every club only sees its own data. Within the club, roles determine who may see what.
- Users can log in with two-factor authentication.
- We keep the software up to date and make a backup automatically every day.
If we discover a data breach that may affect you, we act as the law requires: we report it to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) and, where necessary, to you.
9. Your rights
You may always ask us:
- which data we hold about you (access);
- to correct or complete that data;
- to erase your data;
- to restrict the processing;
- to transfer your data;
- or object to its use.
Have you given consent, for example for messages after the demo? You can always withdraw it.
To do so, email [email protected]. We respond within one month, free of charge. To prevent misuse, we may ask you to confirm that the request comes from you. If it concerns data in your club's Selevy, we pass your request on to that club.
Do you disagree with how we handle your data? Let us know and we will look for a solution together. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl), or with the data protection authority in the country where you live.
10. Changes
If we change this statement, the new version and date are shown at the top. We inform our customers by email of important changes.
